INTENSE POINT RAINS WITH THUNDER AND LIGHTNING, HAIL AND STRONG WIND GUSTS IN GUERRERO AND OAXACA

For today, the wide circulation of the  tropical storm “CRISTINA” , which is located off the coast of Guerrero and Michoacán, will cause very strong to intense occasional rains in the west and south of the national territory, as well as gusts of wind 60 to 70 km / h and high swell of 2 to 3 meters above the coasts of Oaxaca, Guerrero and Michoacán, in addition to providing atmospheric instability to the center of the country.

A  low pressure channel will  prevail from the north to the center of the national territory, it will continue to interact with  superior instability  and with the entry of humid air from the Pacific Ocean, causing heavy to very heavy occasional rains accompanied by electrical activity, wind gusts and possible hail on entities of the northwest and center of the Mexican Republic, including the Valley of Mexico, as well as heavy showers and punctual rains in the north and northeast of Mexico.

A  second low pressure channel  over southeastern Mexico will cause heavy showers and punctual rains accompanied by electrical activity and gusts of wind over Tabasco, Chiapas and southern Veracruz, in addition to isolated rains in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Finally, maximum temperatures above 40 ° C are forecast in 9 entities of the country, being able to exceed 45 ° C in Baja California and Sonora.
