Migrants continue to travel through the central area of ​​the state

86 people of foreign origin received humanitarian aid and were safeguarded by police forces and personnel from the National Migration Institute (INM) in the municipalities of Orizaba and Cuitláhuac.

In operations carried out against citizens who transit irregularly, officers from the State Police and Civil Force, as well as gendarmes from the National Guard division Regional Security and migration personnel participated.

According to the report, during an operation carried out on Sur 4 street in the Agrícola Librado Rivera neighborhood of Orizaba, the authorities intervened 77 Central American migrants.

In a second intervention carried out on the La Tinaja-Córdoba highway, at the height of the municipality of Cuitláhuac, the police and migration bodies intervened five citizens from Honduras and four from Ecuador.

The 86 migrants were channeled and transferred to the Acayucan migration base to determine their legal situation in the country and, subsequently, they can be repatriated to their places of origin.
