Various agencies participated in a reforestation campaign aimed at reforesting 1,000 hectares of Pico de Orizaba National Park.

This initiative demonstrated the unity between citizens, federal forces, and farmers, and they hope to plant 100,000 native trees by the end of 2025.

The organizing institutions emphasized that every citizen can contribute to the recovery of our ecosystems, from home, school, or community, with actions such as recycling, avoiding trash burning, and reporting illegal logging.

Pico de Orizaba National Park has been a protected area since 1937 and has been affected by illegal logging and climate change.
