The Secretariat of the Navy, through the Mexican Navy, reported that the Relief Phase of the Navy Plan was implemented in the northern state of Veracruz, following the damage caused by the heavy rains recorded in recent hours. Naval personnel carried out three medical evacuations, and 116 people have already been assisted in flooded areas.
Three Emergency Response Brigades with 100 naval personnel were deployed to the municipalities of Álamo Temapache and Poza Rica, with 17 vehicles, including two buses, two water trucks, and two ambulances. They also reported that they have specialized equipment, such as a bilge pump to reduce water levels in the most affected areas, and a power plant.
