The Veracruz Carnival takes place from June 26 to July 2, offering a display of music and dance for more than a million visitors who gather in its stands.
Located on Av. Ignacio Zaragoza, downtown, the carnival offers a week full of fun and entertainment for the thousands of spectators expected for the centennial edition of the “most joyful Carnival in the world.”
To facilitate the festivities, road closures will be carried out in the surrounding areas, on Avenida Independencia starting at 2:00 p.m., from Rayón to Montesinos. In addition, the parade times are Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday starting at 6:00 p.m.
This Saturday, the Veracruz Carnival welcomes the singer Wisin, whose real name is Juan Luis Morera Luna. Wisin is a prolific reggaeton singer who has managed to conquer the public with hits such as “Escápate Conmigo”, “Fiel”, “Bien Loco”, “Nota de Amor” and “Mayor Que Yo 3”.

The first big parade will feature the presence of businessman Poncho de Nigris, host Marcela Mistral and LCDLF winner Wendy Guevara.
Tickets for the 2024 Veracruz Carnival
On Saturday and Sunday, access to the carnival stands costs $110 pesos while on Monday and Tuesday the price is $35 pesos per person. Visitors can take photos in the photo spots until June 30 from 2:00 to 10:00 pm in the Plaza de la Soberanía, at the flagpole.
The carnival organization has announced the prohibited objects for entering the massive concerts in the Macroplaza del Malecón, located at Mario Molina, Centro, 91709 Veracruz. Remember that for the massive concerts you will not be able to enter with the following objects:
Belts with large buckles
Drinks and food
Glass bottles or aluminum cans
Firearms
Sharp objects
Plastic or Styrofoam coolers
Umbrellas or parasols
Flares and rockets
Selfie-sticks
Professional cameras
