This Saturday, August 3, the Barbecue Festival will be held in the Macroplaza del Malecón in the city of Veracruz for the third consecutive year.
According to the Director of Economic Development and Tourism, Mario Delfín, there will be a sale of different barbecues with the participation of around 10 stands of local barbecue vendors that will bring their products.
He said that there will be other types of activities such as the contest for the best barbecue, the contest for the most gluttonous, and there will also be culinary workshops where they will teach how to prepare meat and salads for a barbecue.
He pointed out that all activities will be free for the whole family starting at 12 noon.
“They are a group of barbecue vendors who sign up for the best barbecue with a group of judges, they receive prizes from a sponsor, it is like a grape harvest and also the participation in the contest” he said.
