The Veracruz senator Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez will always be remembered by millions as the militant of an opposition party who gave the vote that Morena needed to approve the controversial Judicial Reform.

Later, it was learned that Senator Yunes Márquez was accused of using a false document, falsehood before the authority, and procedural fraud.

However, after having given his vote in favor of the Judicial Reform, a judge ordered the cancellation of the arrest warrant and extradition request to the United States against Yunes Márquez.

A judge canceled the arrest warrant issued against Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez, while the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) withdrew the extradition request filed with the United States.

As already stated, the senator was accused of using a false document, falsehood before the authority, and procedural fraud, crimes allegedly committed during his administration at the head of the Government of Boca del Río, Veracruz.

It should be noted that Senator Yunes Márquez had filed an injunction, alleging political persecution.

After being notified of the cancellation of the arrest warrant and the extradition request, a federal judge granted three days for the parties to assert their rights.
