Veracruz: Accident on the Yecuatla–Plan de la Flor highway leaves 13 injured

At least 13 people were injured in a car accident on the Yecuatla–Plan de la Flor highway, near the town of Miramar, in the northern part of the state of Veracruz.

This Friday, August 22nd, a van from the State of Mexico fell into a ravine, causing several serious injuries to the passengers, including some minors.

Members of the National Rescue Squad, Misantla delegation, arrived at the scene and assisted the injured, providing first aid and emergency care.

The passengers who needed it were transported to a nearby hospital in ambulances from the Squad, the Red Cross, and even private vehicles.

The injured included children between the ages of 11 and 13, teenagers, and adults up to 49.

Likewise, Veracruz State Traffic and Road Safety officers conducted the appropriate assessment and secured the area to prevent further accidents.
