Papantla, Ver.- Cumbre Tajín is being lived to the fullest; On its fourth day, it registers a large influx of tourists from various parts of the Republic, gathered to live the most important experience of this year, which allows us to address and recognize the richness of the Totonac culture.

Coming from Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, Mexico City, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Tlaxcala and even from Baja California Sur, tourists arrived with a plan or improvised to enjoy the more than 1,200 activities on the cultural and musical agenda.

The organized work to which the Government of Veracruz, municipal authorities and the Center for Indigenous Arts are committed not only consists in making people aware of the 58 points of attraction, but also in learning and appreciating the great worldview through the tour on the school-houses of this town, whose grandfathers and grandmothers consider that we have a mission or gift to use in favor of the community in our ephemeral passage on Earth.

In this great reunion of our roots, the Artisans Pavilion stands out with 300 exhibitors from the different branches of pottery and ceramics; vegetable and textile fibers; wood, musical instruments, and toys; metalwork, jewelry, costume jewelry and goldsmith; stonework and glass; saddlery and leather goods.

Be sure to visit Papantla and take one of the many expressions from another 30 municipalities in Veracruz and from special guests such as Oaxaca, Puebla, Chiapas and the State of Mexico. Consult the artistic program at www.festivalcumbretajin.com.mx
