The Ministerial Police assigned to Álamo Temapache, in the north of the state of Veracruz, arrested two young men aged 17 and 18, as the alleged perpetrators of the murder of teacher Diego Yasmar Barrales San Juan, on August 6, in that same city.
The case has shocked the entire region up to the border with Tamaulipas, because the two alleged suspects were students of the victim at the Telebachillerato they attended.
Revenge or economic interest in their kidnapping?
Carlos Alfredo ‘N’ and Juan Diego ‘N’, students of Telebachillerato de Álamo Temapache, were arrested for the kidnapping and murder of their teacher Diego Yasmar Barrales San Juan, events that occurred last August.
The elements of the Ministerial Police based in Tuxpan, arrested those who a little over a month ago, deprived the 40-year-old teacher of his freedom and later of his life.
The youths demanded a ransom for the teacher, who on August 6th they met at a crowded place and from there they took him to a remote place where they beat him, subdued him and contacted his family, but when they did not receive immediate payment, they decided to kill him. The body was found and recovered in the Pantepec River on August 9th.
The teacher’s Durango truck was found abandoned the next day on a country road in the Pueblo Nuevo ejido, in the same municipality.
There is also talk of alleged revenge and that the detainees would be the masterminds, but so far there is no official statement on the subject.
