The influencers and celebrities who came to Veracruz for the reopening of the Pirata Fuente

With the finals of the Kings and Queens League Americas and Spain, and the inauguration of the Luis “Pirata” Fuente stadium, various personalities from the entertainment, sports, and social media worlds have begun arriving in Veracruz.

Among the first confirmed arrivals are content creators Werevertumorro and El Escorpión Dorado, who are already in the city.

The full rosters of Galácticos del Caribe and Los Chamos, finalists in the men’s leagues, also arrived. Miguel Layún, former soccer player and founder of the event in Mexico, will also be present for this Saturday’s activities. This Friday, Miguel Layún was in charge of throwing out the first pitch at Beto Ávila Stadium, prior to the game between El Águila de Veracruz and the Olmecas de Tabasco.

Singer Danny Ocean, who is in charge of the musical show, is already in Veracruz, as well as influencer Vicky Palami and Yolo, one of the presidents of the Los Chamos team. For her part, streamer Rivers announced on social media that she’s already on her way to the city to join the event, along with her team Pio FC.

In addition, although not participating in the event, influencer Fer Carna was spotted at the port, joining the visitors who have come to enjoy the event.

More figures are expected to arrive in the city of Veracruz ahead of the event, which begins this Saturday afternoon, May 17th, and includes three finals and a musical performance.

On May 17th, the renovated Luis “Pirata” Fuente stadium will host three finals that will mark the closing stages of this season’s Kings and Queens Leagues, both in their American and Spanish editions.

The day begins with the women’s finals. In the Queens League Americas, Peluche Caligari Femenil will seek to win the title against Galácticos del Caribe. From across the Atlantic, European representation will come with the match between Kunitas and Pio FC in the Queens League Spain. To close out the night, the Kings League Americas will present its men’s final with a duel between Los Chamos and Galácticos del Caribe.

More matches at the Luis “Pirata” Fuente Stadium?

The Luis “Pirata” Fuente Stadium will once again host more soccer matches thanks to the new International Football Cup (IFC) quadrangular tournament, announced on Tuesday, May 13, during a press conference organized by Latam Sport Connect.

This tournament will feature three confirmed teams: Cruz Azul from Liga MX, Once Caldas from Colombia, and Newell’s Old Boys from Argentina. The fourth team has yet to be revealed. Matches will take place on Thursday, July 3, and Sunday, July 6.
